Hello again.
Lots have been going on in the longboard world. Our first video has been released. The name will be announced a bit later. I can shuvit and pivot in 180s now. Pretty fun. I'm trying to get well-rounded, ie, I'm adding a bit of dancing to my freeride, DH, arsenal.
I travel to Norway a lot over the summers, and I recently found out about a good hill in an area who's name will be disclosed for the sake of the people there. It will be my first time longboarding in any place other than Florida! It should be fun. To prepare, I am trying to learn toeside predifts again, heelside predifts, and toeside 180 standy. I would also like to perfect my Coleman 180.
I'm going to order Calibers soon. I recently got a set of Riptide 78a Fatcones and 75a barrels. In my Paris's, it's a very fun and carvy ride, but I have yet to try them in Calibers. I'm still trying to decide between black and raw trucks for now. Edge only has black in stock however, so who knows. I'm really looking forward to this.
Not much else has been going on. I've been busy lately, but my buddy Quinn recently setup his brother's Tan Tien with Paris 180's and S9 Butterballs. We will be skating together in the future! I am learning of lots new hills in my area too, so that's a welcome surprise.
All in all, pretty good few days in the skating world--- I hope to blog more frequently too. The name of our YouTube Channel will be released soon!

Sorry for the Delay
WELL then.
Sorry for the wait--- I've just had a ton going on in the areas of school, skating, sports, and the like. I've been skating a TON and I finally found a crew!
I am working on bringing out my pendys. I can 1-handed TS 180 now. My heelside speedchecks and improving, and I hit my first Coleman 180 last Thursday. I've also been skating bigger and better hills. A week or two ago, I hit up Jensen Beach with my friend's brother. We went to the highest natural point in FL, standing HUGE and gigantic at... 84 ft. FL Skaters, making the best of our tiny slopes!
My friend's brother, Harry, is also hitting up Clermont today. We'll have lots of GoPro footage coming up I believe!
I skated a couple local hills yesterday, and got some roadrash on a Coleman. We got tons of footage from that too, so a video will be up shortly (hopefully.) Our new channel is to be announced. We are having a few technical difficulties that will be fixed soon enough. Once we get the video up a link shall be posted!
Also, a longboarder was killed at a race yesterday. He fell headfirst and was killed instantly. Paramedics were on the site, but it was no help. Please have a moment of silence for a fellow racer. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Multi-Sectional Post
Hi all,
I've been skating quite a bit recently. I can hands-down toeside 180 and I got my first standup speedcheck-ish thing the other day. I went out practicing my standies yesterday and I ate it pretty hard so I'm resting up now. I came up with a sort of idea that I'll have these things called Multi-Sectional Posts which is like a big fat post with a couple "mini-posts" inside of it.
I found out about a new board in Sector 9's Downhill Division Lineup, the S9 Tiffany. It's supposedly a custom for DBS' Scoot. Here's a pic of Scoot and his new board:

I don't know much about the specific specs, but I've heard it's got a tiny drop in the nose which could be nice. The shape also incorporates the Grease Shark (or is it hammer?) swallow-tail design. I'm looking forward to finding the actual specs.

The Next Section of this Multi-Sectional Post is the new Arbor 2012 lineup!
I found a neat thread on Silverfish so I'll just relay the information.
I definitely see a dropped-vugenhausen in longboard future! I also see a nice little double-kicked cruiser board up there too.

I've also gotten into watching Skate House Media videos and I found this interesting diagram on their website.
It was actually quite helpful. If you haven't already, I highly recommend watching some Skate House Media videos.

Bye Bye Christmas Cash
Hallo there,
I cashed in most of my Christmas money on some new cool stuff. I was struggling to find an online shop that carried everything that I wanted, but I finally found Edge Boardshop which stocked everything I needed and more. They truly have the biggest online inventory I've seen so far. They had pretty fair prices too. I know I've been a strong Muir Believer, and I will continue buying boards from them, but I will also highly recommend Edge.
Down to the good stuff--- purchases. I cashed in on:
1- pack of Venom SHR 80a Barrels
1- pack of Venom Super Carves 81a Cones
1- Edge boardshop hat
1- Nersh Candies sticker 4"
1- Earthwing Sticker 9"
1- Pack of Edge Stickers
2- Ojoom Pucks
4- sheets of Edger Griptape
I also talked to 'prettynoiselab' on silverfish. He said he highly recommends Edger Griptape so I will put that product up to the test in due time.
I'd also like to give a quick shoutout to DHhoff for his semi-new longboard blog, The Longboard Forum. I found it on Silverfish and I thought I'd give him some trafficking.
I've been working on shutdown pendys and they seem to be going fine. Working on 2-hands down slides also. Kneepads have definitely saved my knees several times.

Miscellaneous Post!
Hallo
I've been doing research on bushings and slide pucks. I used the handy dandy Motion Boardshop Bushing Selector to pick some bushings. I wanted something to dial in for freeride, but still be able to carve and everything. I think I'm settling for the given freeride setup for 100-125 lbs. I'm going to order them from Muirskate or Motion Boardshop sometime.
I've been looking at slide pucks too. I wanted something that would be durable, and wouldn't ice out on me if I bail. I was looking towards Advanced Slide Labs Super Atoms, Black Velvet, and Ojoom.---- pics are at bottom of the post.
I haven't decided yet. ASL pucks are supposedly super icy because of a denser molecular structure, AKA, they are harder. Black Velvet are supposed to be durable. Ojoom pucks are kind of the all-around puck. (correct me if I'm wrong..) Ojooms actually look like butter.
KP has been sick lately, so he hasn't been posting that much.

Landyachtz '12
Hi all,
I've been riding my new FSMini and it's great. It's such a fun lil' board. I think I've got my toeside pre-drifts learned. I'm gonna go out and try some new pendys or something. I'm really trying to learn standies but I'm struggling to find a place I can go fast enough. I plan to buy some Edger or Vicious grip. (undecided which). I'm probably gonna purchase some new bushings and see how that goes, too.
I was on the 'fish a week or two ago and I said I'd find a pic of WOLFSHARK 2012. Well, instead of just finding the wolfshark, I found every other thing that landyachtz would be releasing. The more the merrier I suppose!
(I realize that the pics are a bit small, so click them to enlarge. You might have to look closely. sorry!)
I do not own any of these pics! Courtesy of Landyachtz Imgur Album.
Look at the contact patch of those biggie hawgs!!! Kyle Martin wheels are neat also.
DISCUSS! Looks like almost all of the new decks have new graphics. There seem to be some brand-new decks, too. The Switch Blade 36 looks pretty nice. The mini monster hawgs seem to have a translucent urethane too now. New trucks are cool too.
Looks like it's gonna be a good new year!
